Yes, we are so excited to offer a summer reading program for all ages—young children (0-Preschool), students (entering Kindergarten-5th grade), teens (entering 6th-12th grade), and adults.
Participants can register and begin tracking reading and literacy building activities starting Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The program ends on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
For those who participated last year, please visit the Beanstack portal on either our website https://www.cityofzeeland.com/506/Beanstack or click on the Beanstack app installed on your smart phone. You will need to use the same username and password as last year. Don’t remember your password? Just simply click on the option to reset your password or call the library at 616.772.0874. A staff member is ready to help.

HMPL is delighted to offer in-person programming for summer 2021! Wednesdays at 10:00 am, our team will pop up in either VandeLuyster Square or Lawrence Street Park to bring fun and learning to the whole family. For specific dates, park locations, and activities, please refer to our website at www.hmpl.org, the Howard Miller Public Library Facebook site, and our Howard Miller Public Library Instagram page.
No registration is required to participate and all programs are free of charge!
Library cards are not required to participate in the summer reading 2021 program or events. However, we encourage you to ask about getting one.
